A 2 bedroom holiday let sleeping 4 people ( double and twin rooms) and by agreement one small/medium dog in the Peak district National Park near Macclesfield Forest and the Goyt Valley. Originally an old Inn, the property has been fully restored, resulting in a light modern interior and retaining all the exterior charm and character. A cosy woodburning stove and outdoor seating areas makes the cottage a year round option for Walking, Cycling and Relaxing
Surrounded by stunning scenery, this area is loved by walkers and cyclists; people who enjoy the great outdoors. Walk from the door into Macclesfield Forest and Teggs Nose Country Park, up Shutlingsloe and Shinning Tor Peak, across the Moor to Three Shires head or into the wilds of the Goyt Valley. For families a visit to Blaze farm petting shed, pipe slide, old tractor and Ice parlour, cafe is a must. The historic towns of Buxton and Macclesfield are 15minutes drive away. Opposite is the Stanley Arms a traditional pub offering food, beer and an open fire and within walking distance is the Leather Smithy pub, Cat and Fiddle, two cafes and Torgate farm shop. We are accessible by car and happily discount extra for those arrivng on public transport, bike or foot .
