Whilst we advertise on Airbnb a direct booking secures you the best price for your stay at  Plattin Inn.  By all means use Airbnb ( key location search word:  Macclesfield forest)  to see our  current availability and their pricing.  Our direct booking prices in 2024 are from £125.00 per night, we do try and discount for longer stays and repeat guests. 

Booking : Please use our contact  form or mail us directly hello@plattin-inn.co.uk ,  detailing your requirements: the arrival and departure date (s) , number of guests and if you are bring a small-medium dog . . We will confirm availability and send you our T&C’s and a booking form . To secure  dates we require a completed booking form and a deposit .

Minimum stay : 2-3 nights

Sleeping Capacity : 4 Guests – one double and 2 single beds .

Dog Guest: upon request we accept small-medium dog(s) from £25.00 ( max 2 ). . Our Dog T&C’s, the dog must be house trained, is not allowed on the furniture and will not be left alone in the property.

Arrival Time : Guests can arrive from 3pm. ( we try and accomodate earlier arrivals when possible – just enquire. )

Departure Time : Guests must vacate the property by 10am. ( everyone likes a lazy sunday departure – again if possible happy to accomodate. )

Deposit : We ask for a 20% non refundable deposit at the time of booking, with full balance payable 28 days before the start of the holiday.

Cancellation: If you cancel within 28 days of the start of your holiday we will try to re-let the property. If this is not possible, the full cost of the rental will be incurred.

Booking includes : All heating and hot water, bedding and towels, a basket of logs and guest welcome pack.  Use of maps and print outs of walks from the door. Dog towel and treats .

Contactless access:  We have a keybox  for stress free contactless arrival and departure. Your unique  keybox code will be  provide the week before arrival.  On arrival, once settle we request you message us and if any quereies we can resolve them immediately.

Wifi: Due to the cottage  location  we can not provide wifi in the cottage. However there is  good 4G mobile connectivity and most guests use this if working from the cottage is required.
